2026 Army HBCU-MI SPARK Symposium Registration
See Innovation in Action.
Connect with the Future of Army Research.
Join us for the 2026 Army HBCU-MI SPARK Symposium—a dynamic, one-day event showcasing the research achievements of students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority-Serving Institutions who spent their summer embedded in Army research labs. Under the guidance of Army scientists and engineers, these students tackled real-world challenges in disciplines such as cybersecurity, materials engineering, data science, and environmental science.
Attendees will hear opening remarks from Army and university leadership, engage directly with student researchers during an extended poster showcase, and gain insight from both SPARK alumni and senior leaders across the research community. The program features a keynote address from Major General Antoinette R. Gant, along with presentations from Army research organizations and partners, followed by an exhibitor showcase designed to encourage continued connection and engagement.
Throughout the day, you’ll have opportunities to connect with Army personnel, university faculty, and other STEM professionals in a setting designed to foster meaningful exchange and strengthen research partnerships.
Come see how today’s talent is advancing solutions for tomorrow’s missions.
