Join us for the 2025 Army HBCU-MI SPARK Symposium—a dynamic, one-day event showcasing the research achievements of students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority-Serving Institutions who spent their summer embedded in Army research labs. Under the guidance of Army scientists and engineers, these students tackled real-world challenges in disciplines such as cybersecurity, materials engineering, data science, and environmental science.

Attendees will hear opening remarks from Army leadership, engage with student researchers during poster sessions, and enjoy a guest presentation over lunch by Mr. Jeffrey A. Thomas, Director for Science and Technology (S&T) Integration at DEVCOM. Throughout the day, you’ll have opportunities to connect with Army personnel, university faculty, and other STEM professionals in a setting designed to inspire collaboration and strengthen national security partnerships.
